Be alert for the new trend. The next three days (SAT, SUN, MON) being holidays in the
US, the marqueee match-ups will be in the day time instead of the famous night matches.
You can already notice that both Novak and Serena are in the day session instead of
night session on saturday.

Expect both Fed and Maria in day session on sunday.

The draw has become highly unbalanced now.

Q2 - Kvitova, Victoria and Genie --- 3
Q3 - JJ and no one else ------------- 1
Q4 - Pova, Caro and Sarah -------- 3

It's been the "no one else" that's been bringing big names down. No?

Didnt you say your are leaving for now? :D
Who cares. The whole event is just a one big bore to be honest. ALWAYS was, even with Simona in it.
The current players are laughable with a mental resistance of a mouse.
Their nails color is the only thing that matters for them.
And money of course...

2 early matches are on.
Petra is ahead 2-1 but Krunic is on serve.

Gibbs broke Flavia early, ahead 2-0, Flavia serves again.

Women tennis is in such bad shape at the moment. The only source of light is Caro.
Serena - so moody and you never know what Serena you gone get on the day.
Screamcheat - murders the spirit of the game. Screams and cheating (getting the other player out of focus) should be outlawed once and for all.
Vika and Li - injured out of shape.
Aga - big fall in her level of play.
Genie - lost her self belief after the Wimbeldon trashing.
Petra - who knows what day she gets, totally unstable.
Simona - having pleasure and lost touch with reality.
JJ and Ana - not strong enough and weak mentally.
Errani - fights so hard but limited in her skill.

Caroline - the only one looking good at the present. :)
I hope Caro wins the NY farce. It will be a very good thing for tennis.

Petra has bandage wrap around right thigh, she is broken late in the opener by Aleksandra who will serve for first set ahead 5-4

Flavia has her hands full with Gibbs.

Petra, watch that heat stroke. health is more important than making the show work.
In that heat, 3 sets, red face and sun in the eyes. careful.
She looks exhausted and Krunic is light and can run in that heat.

So the WTA and the USO idiots leave the no.3 in the world to bake in the sun after she won Wimbeldon and NH,
but they give the night matches to the screamcheater.
Can it get much worse? Can it be more rotten?

F..K the women tennis establishment.
They are rotten to the core.

A lot of the scheduling is prompted by the TV schedule. Promoters think people would be more inclined to watch Maria Sharapova at night rather than Kvitova and Unknown Player. Even though it's been clear that the people at Ashe have solidly been for whomever Sharapova plays against.

You might want to cool it with the language Si! We understand how you feel :)

Did she deserve her victory with all that moon-balling?
Krunic is one of the most average players I've seen in a while. :/
I'm pretty sure we won't hear from her after this tourney.

I can't see all the negative about Krunic. She really played well today and calling her an average player today is way out of reality. In fact it was a hard fought win as Kvitova did what she could against a player who had the match of her life. That's the beauty of tennis. So the seeds keeep falling wonder who else were saying goodbye to today - Serena?
