Upset Corner - RG 2018 Edition

Before I could come back from my trip and open this thread, a long list of players got upset already.
Ostapenko, Venus and Konta gone on day 1. Azrenka, Mladenovic and Sevastova gone on day 2. Nothing seems to be brewing today.

Cornet lost to fellow French player. CSN, a Spaniard and clay specialist, lost to Sakkari in straight sets. Those are the upsets of Day 4. I think nothing happened on Day 3.

Usually Samantha Stosur's name will appear in this thread for wrong reasons. This time she actually caused an upset and sent Pavly home. But, Stosur has some clay chops. Recall that one time she caused upsets of several big names in a row and reached the final, only to lose to Schiavone.

Coco gone and that too with bagel consumption at the end.

Another seed bites the dust. S. Zhang taken out by Begu.

p.s. Serena mounting a comeback. This would mean we will see Barty's name here soon (but is it really an upset?)

Of the 32 seeded players who were "supposed" to reach the third round 21 made it. 11 seeded players got ousted.

Vika losing is not an upset as she is not seeded. But Barty is seeded and Serena is not.
