Oh why, it sure is, because Trump merely disagrees with leftist policy positions (which must be treated as the only morally acceptable positions, even if they fail over and over and are clearly irrational). i have worked many years in an industry in health care - which is UNIONIZED -- the largest in the USA - SEIU - for ''service workers".

such as hospital workers, nurses, nurse aides, nursing homes, senior citizens stuff...

the great, absolutely great majority are BLACK women nurses aides, the majority from

haiti, jamaica, africa, caribbean islands, hispanics, quite a number from poland and ukraine..(ring a bell as to why these particular european countries are so close to the USA in terms of 'immigration?") -

now - let me tell you - the union itself is ENTIRELYdemocratic as dictated by the high officials. part of 'union dues" - goes to ''elected contribution" to political action funds - namely the democratic party.

it's automatic unless you personally ask the finance office to NOT take out the monthly contribution to the democratic party.

election time comes - buttons are FOR democratic party,..e mails reminding to ''fight for workers rights -- with hillary, with so and so democrat".

and they are correct in STATEMENT -- but it is all a strategy to CAPTURE workers and their money as the democratic party AND the union actually SLEEP with the work bosses who of coruse have their money in BOTH parties.

which means - what in MONEY amount for labor?

why - like this of course:

''contract negotiations" which take months- achieve a ''signed contract for the next 5 years- in which raises will be 3 percent a year...2 percent for union dues - one percent for worker"..

in EXCHANGE for ''workplace administration's right to make policies and change as needed" == which MEANS

THERE ''are no NY state laws" or 'federal laws" which 'require the nursing home to have such and such number of nurse aides for such and such number of old patients per floor"

which MEANS -- if a nursing home decides at any given time they can't ''afford" 4 nurse aides per floor of 40-50 senile, heavy, screaming people -- and finish work without any mistakes for which THEY can be blamed at all times and fired or ''reprimanded with wage garnishment" or ''loss of work hours" - --

and can't afford to FILL IN a missing worker for any given period -- whether one day or months -- and it's down to 3 or even 2 per 40 screaming, scratching people who fall and elope and shit on themselves...with screaming families...

it is not so much about 'socialists" as callitennis says...because THAT is inherently against the principles of TRUE socialism which looks to the rights of ordinary workers.

it is more like a ''pretend" social 'welfare' system - which simply uses slogans to CAPTURE workers INTO INDENTURED servitude as ''bonded workers" by means of ''unionizing' them

where the UNIONS themselves are SLEEPING with the management class to PLUNDER the pockets of the workers by ''locking" them into years-long contracts -- always PRE-decided by the LAWYERS AND COURTS for BOTH sides (republican type administration and bosses -- and democrat ''worker representation")

as to how LITTLE the wages will be for MORE work in which the DOLLAR of a worker's wages is actually DEVALUED over the years...

the BIGGEST beneficiaries are the democratic party big-wigs and their ''representatives" but NEVER the ordinary workers who they just CAPTURE with their wonderful sounding slogans .

in reality -- the democrats are the equivalent of SLAVE PLANTATION master salesmen -- who are the BEST in typing out the ''legalities" of persuading workers to BECOME enslaved - BY CONTRACT.

while telling them to their faces "we fight for your dignity".
