Not sure what category this goes in, but I was wondering, who was the last man to jump over the net after winning a slam final?

Players used to do it ALL the time. And I think Edberg may have done it after winning the 92 USO. But that was over 20 years ago, and you never see it anymore.

Just curious (if anyone really cares). Thought it was a fun trivia question.

Cheers

Nice question indeed and I've absolutely no idea! Hope someone can find out the answer.

The "fall backwards" onto the floor move seems to have taken precedence TM. It's got a bit boring now, so some net jumping would be good to see. :)

OK, not "net-jumping," but when Rafa won the career slam over Djokovic in 2010, Nole walked around the net to give a nice hug that wasn't across the net. But, yes...I'd like to see a little net-jumping.

None of the big 4 have ever done it and I know Del Potro didn't either. I think we'd have to go back quite a few years to find the last guy to do it.
