this is quite a must final-

 

imagine how long it's been between the two all-time greats and compelling rivalries and match-ups!

while both seem to be a bit raggedy by the years -- at their best the remain players to beat almost as much as nole at his best nowadays.

 

i think it is a match that ought to fire up both players even more as the year winds down because they are experienced enough but also know each other enough that there's always that element of the old rivalry going on ..and neither wants to give in .

 

also - we can see something of their 2016 mindset - and i think nothing makes them want to show this more than THEIR match-up, especially after so long!

it seems that ROGER is more in position to win this at this time in their year and career.

roger has seemed to be the more in command of his better qualities than nadal is at the moment. but then............there's that ''thing" nadal seems to bring out when he faces roger --

and this might be another of those times when nadal digs even deeper just because he knows he ''has taken residence in roger's head".

 

what's that long ago joke among players "i'd like to rent that floor nadal occupies in roger's head?" or something like that?

Roger's usually beaten Nadal indoors, but it's that long since they played, who knows what we have in store.

I'm going to go with Federer, but I usually get this wrong.
