A look at the famous Radio Recorders studio location. The following video was made and researched by HistoricallyMarked last year.

At the corner of Santa Monica and Orange Boulevards is this building which once housed a recording studio. Several well-known hit songs and jingles, as well as other recorded music, were recorded at this spot. Elvis Presley, the Beach Boys, Nat King Cole and Bing Crosby once recorded here. A historical marker next to the building tells all about it.

The studio would close by the end of the 1960s, and it would re-open at least twice, hosting a new generation of music history. It would no longer be a recording studio by 2008, and in later years an art gallery was housed there. At the time of my visit in August 2022, it was completely empty although there was a work crew working inside to remodel the interior.
