Actually 4 interesting matches ready for you. 3 courts and all matches start at 15.00 local time:

15:00 Bencic - Kudryavtseva ( Qualifying)
17.00 Lisicki - Vekic (1st round)
19:00 Kuznetsova - Zhang (1st round)
21:00 Mattek-Sands - Ka. Pliskova (1st round)

All these four matches can be seen on TV or stream - like http://www.drakulastream.eu/

And interesting to see if Zvonareva can get her first victory in this tournament - hope she'll she's a nice player and deserves to come back after her long injury.

Yeah she's not allowed to play in more than one international every half year as top 10 player and her choice was Monterey.

She's in training camp in Dubai and spending some quality time with Rory - actually she trains with him as you can see from the following twitter battle they had little over a day ago - READ FROM BOTTOM UP:

Caroline Wozniacki @CaroWozniacki

@McIlroyRory haha! Such a liar, but if it makes you feel better , then we can say that if beating you by 32 sec on the treadmill is = lol

Rory Mcilroy @McIlroyRory .

For everyone asking... She's got me in the swimming, but the cycling and running were pretty much equal!

Rory Mcilroy @McIlroyRory

Mini triathlon done with @CaroWozniacki! Now time for a Nandos and a few episodes of breaking bad! ‪#‎perfectsaturdaynight‬

Caroline Wozniacki @CaroWozniacki .

15 min for the swim, 12 min and 15sec for the bike ride and 11 min 45 sec for the running. Now time to fuel up the body with some food!

Caroline Wozniacki @CaroWozniacki 21 t.

Fun gym session today! Tried out a mini triathlon with @McIlroyRory. 500m swimming, 7km bike ride and 3km running. I finished it in

Caroline Wozniacki @CaroWozniacki .

15 min for the swim,
she skipped paris which is a premier and 15 min for the swim is not really fast. ;)

Again we hear Lisicki withdraw from a tournament and Kuznetsova joins her. How come they join an international tournament if they pull out early - because of Doha - come on - it's pityful.

Nice to see Zvonareva back on the tour. She's not quite there where she left but she makes promising signs. Also her normal Russian tricks in a tennis match are back: Change of racket, slow serve, medical timeout, interupted serve and her sound level after the serve - all just to break the concentration of her oponent - not so sportsman like - but she's not the only one Kuznetsova use the same tricks. Here you can see that Zvonareva has a strapping hope it's not serious and just to prevent something happening

Little gossip or actually it's not when Mcllroy says it himself. Interviewed in DUbai last night when takeing part in opening a new Nike store in DUbai:

McIlroy revealed during the interview session: “Things have changed for the better off the golf course getting engaged to Caroline which has been fantastic, so I’ve been planning the wedding and all that stuff, already, and that is exciting to look forward to.”

Looking forward to a McCartney dress for the bride - must be her most important dress until now IMHO.

Another thing have you seen the new button on WTA homepage - where you can see which channel is showing tennis in your country - pretty smart IMHO - here is a video about it:

Thanks for all the score updates Hoergren, this one is already got me excited!
Alison vs. Sorana sounds really Dandy. I saw Alison in person last year, she is very talented. Popular too.

Here is a picture of the some of the Ladies.

I cant see Sorana Cirstea beating Riske even if my fav player is a Romanian(Halep). Sorana is losing to any player with a solid game since June last year (after Toronto). This shows how the rankings can be irrelevant in women tennis.
but.. expect the unexpected which is a Sorana win in tis case. Although Sorana is ranked 20 places higher, she is a clear underdog to me in this match! :puzzled :D

Can't say I ever recall Zvonareva using games(wo)manship before to be honest. If she has a shoulder strapping then surely it was likely a legit MTO. I only remember her as a fierce competitor back when she was world number 2 and a nice person and great player but a total headcase. And a ton of the ladies scream their heads off so I can't see that making her any different in fairness.

I just say that Russians and in Eastern Europe made a trend back then to make small tricks to distract their oponents. And don't misunderstand me - I like Zvonareva and her fighting spirit and I'm happy she's back although she's having difficulties in her game against Makarova right now - down 06 24

Wow they were not amused - Zvonareva and Makarova - first time I've seen both players in a match NOT shaking hands with the umpire. There were some questionable decisions in the match where the umpire overruled the line judges but i didn't see it THAT bad. Wonder if the players are fined afterwards - anyone know this?

Sorry Sori! (Sorana Cirstea) No one knows what you can do in a match! :D
Nice win today on Riske 6-3 6-4! :puzzled I was sure Sorana will lose, but a girl who reached the Toronto final can always come from no where and have a good win.
Its such a shame that Sorana cant be consistent and win few matches in a row :(
I hope she will change that. I guess she isn't ranked 23 for nothing. Its quite high for her level of play in the last 4-5 months.

They don't have to shake the umpire's hand. There is no penalty for that. But there is a fine for not appearing at a post match press conference.

I took this from the USTA Chair Umpire Handbook: "Shake hands with the player(s) if the player(s) extends their hand."

Thanks a mil. i might be wrong about Zvonareva because camera showed her from behind so she COULD have shaken hands - sorry about that - but I really don't like that they don't shake hands even if they feel something has gone against the player.
