After issues with IMG and breaking off from it, Fed and Godsik have started
an agency called Team8 to represent Athletes. At present, Fed is a client;
after retirement Fed will be an active business partner in it apparently.

Team 8 has already signed up Del Potro and Grigor Pova.

So, it looks like Fed is planning for after life already.

There's actually a lot that's interesting here. Yes, Fed's next plan. And with Godsik, Mary Jo Fernandez's husband. (That's always been a little dicey as to her conflicts as a commentator, let me say.) Roger's name could do interesting things for Juan Martin and Grigor, I should think. I'm very curious to see how this goes.

I haven't paid attention to the IMG controversy, but I can understand if Roger and Tony feel they can go on their own and cut out the middle-man, just on Roger's percentage of endorsements.

BTW, Mahesh Bhupathi (the doubles player from India) has his own company
(I think called Globe Sports or something close to it) and he has got Murray
sign in with his company. He feels that Murray is not properly Branded and
sold and he thinks he can do a good job of promoting Murray around the world.
This is why you could see Mahesh in Murray's box during Wimbledon 2013.

However, Mahesh's company's clout is probably confined to India
and at the most extends to Asia and some Gulf countries. I don't think
his company has major presence in the European or the USA markets
which is where the big money is.
