The Tournament:

The Swiss Open is hosted in Gstaad, Switzerland and boasts one of the most scenic backdrops on the tour. Held since 1915, the tournament is played on outdoor clay courts. Gstaad is situated in south-western Switzerland, near the border with France.

The Players:

2015 champion Dominic Thiem isn't returning, having elected to play in Austria. The top seed is Feliciano Lopez. Lopez, playing on a slower surface than he excels will face stiff competition from Gilles Simon and two in-form natural clay courters Albert Ramos-Vinolas and Fernando Verdasco.

Kravchuk is 31 years old, but this is first time I heard of him. Big scalp in beating #5 seed here. He takes on young Ymer tomorrow.

Brazil´s Thiago Monteiro upsets #2 seed Simon for a spot in the quarters. He is steadily climbing up the rankings, and is quite close to getting in the to 100 for the first time, as he started the year #463 in the world.
