I know the event is in final stages, but I think it is still quite interesting what is happening here.
The final 4 qualified for the SF were:
The top 3 seeds Isner, Fognini and Tsitsipas and Gulbis who came through as a qualifier .

WTH happened to Gulbis? I used to see him all the time back in the day; usually looking like he had just rolled out of bed with baby fine hair! He's looking a bit haggard with the scruffy beard! I have a faint memory of Ernests upsetting Federer on clay before his decline and resurgence! I expected more since he went toe to toe with Nadal at least once! :yesyes:

Very nice. He is now the youngest player on tour with a title.

Been away, just checking scores and glancing at the forums. So happy for Stefanos! Ernie is a mystery. He can play, but who knows how much he wants to.

What would the rest of them think if some kid came along and stole all their thunder? It's one thing to get to #4 like Sascha, but he's still scratching along with 2 Masters 1000 wins & not much of a record in the Majors where historic reputations are made! :yesyes: :p
