Anybody see it this past Sunday? I thought there were some disappointingly sappy and, frankly, bad parts. The Californians was hideous and not funny in the slightest. I never got the ESPN duo, and that skit was not funny at all. But, Celebrity Jeopardy did not disappoint (Darryl Hammond as Sean Connery and Let It Snow--Le Tits Now-- was hysterical, as well as Hugh McDonald as Burt Reynolds thinking he is on Wheel of Fortune), and it is always good to see Tina Fey and Amy Poehler (this time with Jane Curtain) back on Weekend Update. The intro by Chris Rock for Eddie Murphy fell flat on its face when Murphy came out and spoke for one minute and wanted to get out of there. The one thing I was unhappy with was the lack of playing some of the classic skits over again. Then again, that may have turned it into a five hour special, so, we must accept things as they are. All in all, I have enjoyed most of the forty years and will continue to watch when I can stay up that late.

Eddie Murphy couldn't relax his Ego to give the SNL fans and tv viewers what they tuned in to see.. Can you imagine if Michael Jackson would have declined to participate in Motown 25..:nono

I enjoyed it, and I have overall not enjoyed the show for sometime other than an occasional viral sketch.
