Cameras caught Stephens celebrating with her team on match point and Channel 7 initially aired the footage implying that Stephens was celebrating Serena’s loss, as she’s seen almost giving a high-five to her hitting partner, Andrew Fitzgerald. The station later clarified that Stephens was actually mimicking the celebration coming from Ivanovic’s player box. Phew. I was starting to get worried World War III between the two American stars might break out.

Equally disrespectful that the media have to film everything you do and then quiz you on it. But yeah, it was likely her cheering at Serena's loss. I don't buy the cover up excuse she used.

Lol, sorry but are you quoting and talking to yourself here?

Weird to be mimicking a player on TV... Don't know what is going on between these two, does Stephens has any basis to dislike Williams? She's a champ and i like her (Williams) too bad she screams so much on court.

Instead of cheering someone else's loss, she should have been practicing that serve and minimizing errors as her performance was dismal yesterday.

I've been waiting for a couple seasons to reserve judgement on her...but uh...I'm not a fan. Let's leave it at that.

Do those Channel 7 people even believe themselves? :D What a lame try to cover up her happiness. I always felt that Sloane is a bit of a bitch, looks like I was right. Serena knew why she ignored Sloane.

I see that now, after taking the link, but it wasn't apparent given the way you posted it. I can understand, therefore, why someone would interpret it as your statement, not someone else's.

As for Sloane, she needs to worry about herself, and not get caught up in petty disputes. She beat a compromised Serena ONCE, but she seems to have lost perspective on that.
