I said that Aga may beat you at your own game without extra power. I was an idiot.
NO PLAYER IN THE WORLD can beat you without using extra power to overwhelm you.
Only power players have a chance against you by blowing you off the court !!

SIMO, YOU ARE AMAZING ! :hug

Now I need to :chillout: just a bit ;)

Take a deep breath Si Si! Great to see Simona into her first major final I do believe. Certainly a stellar victory against a very fine player in Aga. Should be an interesting final, played Kerber once before but when both were way down in the ratings. This time #9 against #10. I am not totally immersed in tennis right now, with the Winter Olympics being on( being Canadian of course) but might try and watch this final.

It depends on how you define "major". I could claim its only a 3rd tier event ;)
There are the grand slams tournaments, then mandatory tournaments, and only then the "premier 5" tournaments.
But I am a Simona fan, so for me its a super major tournament ;)

I never learn.
Simona proved me an idiot for the 2nd time in 2 days for doubting her, but I fixed my act 20 minutes before the start of the match (in the Qatar thread) and said that she will win it. :D
It was just a psychological behaviour, preparing myself for the possible pain of defeat
Poor Angie was suffering after her lose :( And her uncontrolled cry after the 1st set was painful to watch :cry

Kerber is always like that and doesn't seem to be able to control her emotions properly when losing and lets it get to her too much.

She is a serial choker from Eastborne v Patzek to Doha v Simo.
Thats what prevents her from winning titles and matches. Its not her tennis, its her fragile mentality.
She is just too nice and emotional inside.

Yup. Really mentally weak which completely overshadows the fact that she's physically very strong. Needs to work on it but I'm glad she didn't today :)

I think that Sabine Lisicki has the same problem. Both girls are really nice girls but too fragile.

Yup. Good comparison and agreed. Both blonde, both German (although Kerber has Polish roots) and both mentally weak.

Too much "both" in your reply. You really like pairs, dont you? ;)
