Sharon Tate in "Eye of the Devil." Turning toads into doves scene.
"Eye of the Devil" is a 1966 British mystery horror film based on the novel "Day of the Arrow" by Robin Estridge. The story is set in rural France and follows Philippe de Montfaucon, the hereditary owner of an ancient estate in Bordeaux. After his vineyards fail to produce any fruit for three years, he is summoned to Bellac, where he receives a strange amulet from a sinister priest.
When Philippe's wife and children arrive at the chateau, they encounter strange rituals and dark secrets that lead them to uncover a terrifying ancient superstition that has haunted the Montfaucon family for centuries.
The film stars Deborah Kerr, David Niven, Donald Pleasence, Sharon Tate, and David Hemmings.
