She has her typical Madrid-Rome-RG schedule which seems to work for her. However, her post Wimbeldon schedule raised an eyebrow since I thought she was focusing on fewer tournaments. I am not sure if it will stand, but she has Swedish Open-Stanford-Rogers Cup and Cincy all listed. That makes for a hectic summer i[/font]f that stands. She must be getting a nice appearance fee for the Swedish Open again to make that trek from Wimbledon.

I think she will skip either Swedish Open or Stanford.

Typically, the same tourney does not keep paying the same player large appearance fee
and so it would probably be Swedish Open (not to mention that it is a clay tourney in the
hard season).

She is definitely skipping Charleston which she usually playes (due to IW).

She's also playing WTT, so she may skip both the clay event & Stanford

I would imagine she'd skip Stanford. She doesn't need the points by any means and if she's playing the Swedish Open it's because they ponied up a BIG appearance fee.

I just found it interesting because she said she was going to cut back on smaller tournaments and focus on the majors. I can't see her playing that schedule if she is having on again off again knee issues especially on the hard courts.

Also if she wins or doesn't feel 100% after the first of the two big ones (Canada right?) I would guess she won't play the second.

Well she defends Cincy, so I have a feeling she would show up there. She might try for the three peat in the US Series though.

She'll probably just compete in Canada and Cincy. I don't see here playing Swedish Open, especially if she wins the French and Wimby, because, there will be too much history on the line.

They're advertising that Stanford Open here in Northern Cali with her face as the feature so there will be some pretty disappointed fans. On another note, she's appeared for the last few years so we have been lucky.

The tournaments do that all the time even though they know the player will not be playing in the tournament, just to sell tickets. Lindsey alluded to that a couple of years ago. She said they the tournaments are notify way in advance when the players are not playing and yet they never announce it unit the very last min.
