Besides Simon vs Hewitt,I would watch the last match on court 17 if I were in Paris. Why is this forum so slow? Does it have to go to google analytics, google counters and everything else it does unnecessarily.

Roger starts with a break, but the kid has game, I can tell from that DTL backhand. He is just tight., understandably so...His ball toss is weird though.

I hope Roger's movement is a result of just trying to take it easy in the 1st round. This kid is settling down now so Roger will have to pick it up a bit in the 2nd.

I like how aggressive Roger is returning. He should be doing more of that against the better competition to shorten the points. Fed is serving pretty well too but his opponent isn't putting any pressure on him right now.

Good and unexpected comeback from Hewitt (expected a bagel 5th set personally) but he was probably never gonna win it anyway. Only a matter of time before he lost serve again. A relatively short 5 setter for Simon so he won't be too drained from that.

Roger was moving better by the end. All around a good performance and always good to be off in straights in the early rounds. Roger's at the point now where it is extra important to dash through the early rounds as quick as possible otherwise he will be affected when he plays the better players.
