This scheduling is height of Jingoism. They have put Kristina on Philippe, just because she is from France. She is not even a seeded player. Typically when you put a French player on Philippe, they should at least follow the basic rule that either the French player should be seeded and if not, then the opponent should be a seeded player. Here neither is the case. Her opponent Donka is more unknown than Kristina herself. There are plenty of other choices they could have made. :nono

What's really ridiculous is that Sveta is playing Franny. Both are former FO champs and they got pushed to Court 1.

Kvitova dancing with disaster again. Lost first set tiebreak. Tied 4-all in second but then Petra breaks and serves out the set. Into a third.

Julia Goerges (GER) def. Caroline Wozniacki (DEN) [5] -- 6-4, 7-6(4)

That's very disappointing. I had much higher expectations for her than the second round. Hoergren will not be happy either.

Serena better get it together if she doesn't want another embarrassing headline yet again at the French.

Also, the directors should be punched in the face for not putting Kuzzy and Franny on center court.

Venus and Caro both got bounced, maybe she just wants to go hang out on the beach and crash weddings again? :snicker

Instead of Nadal? Really?

I think he meant instead of the other women's matches on Chatrier today.
