You're one of the few I've seen to predict that winner! It would be a great accomplishment for him if he beats that guy in the final as you predict!

The moment you call Feliciano Lopez and Fernando Verdasco as clay court specialists, I lost interest in reading further, but none the less read. The rest of your predictions (such as Rafa beating
Novak and Roger beating Rafa in the finals at RG) are mind blowing. Hope you did not quit your day job. :snicker

Haha. I still have my day job and will be waiting with bated breath for the day you give me permission to move onto full time tennis journalism.

I mis-worded the "clay court special" line. What I meant was, clay seems to be their best surface, not that they were the best on it. Which I realize on closer inspection is only true for Verdasco (was thrown off by the Spanish stereotype). Thank you for pointing that out.

I stand by my predictions though. If everything worked according what happened in the immediate past, we wouldn't need to play any Slams would we?

I believe Fed has the current ability to win his matches in three sets, to get to the Finals, whether or not he does remains to be seen. If he does, I agree, he will be more fresh than either opponent in the Final, whether it be Rafa or Novak. Now, I'm not saying I would bet the house on Fed, but then, this year, I would not bet the house on Rafa, or Nole. Rafa because of his current form, Nole, because of the immense pressure he has put on himself, and his capacity to flinch. It makes for an interesting two weeks of tennis....regardless of the outcome, it should be some very good tennis. Congrats on the good write, and the kahonas to post it here :clap

Here's to Fed taking one more Slam :celeb:

You're bold with your calls, and you have a day job. That's a very good pairing.

^ Very bold calls indeed... If he laid money on them then he might be able to give up the day job :)

^Six more to take brother... and if your predictions do actually pan out then I'll be a happy man (albeit slightly bewildered).
