I will be doing something else with my Sunday. It's sickening to have to root for Raonic but as I've said before I would root for Satan if he is playing Whafa.

Is there any way to add new selections to the poll or is that up to the OP?

I believe now that that's true, and it makes me sad. After how disgusted you were with Milos's behavior, you STILL prefer him over Rafa? That's a deep dislike. But...to each his own. You're too smart for me to try to coerce you.

Rafael Nadal in two sets. The way Nadal is playing this week, he should dispatch Raonic very soundly.

In three career meetings between these two, Raonic hasn't taken a set. In addition, Raonic has only broken Nadal ONCE in three meetings. That came earlier in the year at Barcelona Open.

Dislike is a weak word. I've seen that man win a couple hundred too many matches for my liking. And P.S. it is a real hard choice for me to root for Raonic if that makes you feel better.

It might be that I have to, as the OP, but tell me what you want, and I'll add them. (I promise...no matter what they are, if I can.)

We've banned the "H" word, if you get my point, so 'dislike' is all I've got. I know you don't like him because of the times/ways he's beaten Roger, but would you otherwise just completely object to the number of matches he's won? There is a reason he has won them, and there are a fair number of reasons he won today. Just asking, because I know you're a fair poster.

I know most here wouldn't believe it but Rafa's H2H vs. Roger is somewhat far down on the list for why I "dislike" the guy. I won't pretend it isn't a reason, consciously and sometimes subconsciously. If you remember back in 2011 Nole beat Roger 4 out of 5 including the crushing loss at USO, I didn't suddenly dislike him due to the losses.

You already know what I think of Nadal's on court antics and his character in general. I don't trust him as far as I can throw him. And then the style of play does little to make up for it. He is one of the all time greatest and unlike some of his fans I think he is going to surprise and age very well. Better than Roger who has aged in an overrated way as weird as that sounds. I'd be pleasantly surprised if Rafa doesn't end up hitting 19 or 20 but I think he will when all is said and done.

As for options to add I was thinking: "Milos cheats his way to a golden match victory"

I think we have that discussion on another thread.

Rafa in straights. Milos has been playing long hours this week so he'll be tired and pushing to be really aggressive. Milos' best shot (besides serve) is his off-forehand and that's been the tactic against Rafa for a bit. It will go down to the first set IMO... if Milos wins the first set, then it might be a long annoying day for Rafa.

I'd be lying if I hedged my bets. I think Nadal's game is too round for the Canadian. It'll be over in straights, but not easy straights. Kinda like the match versus JJ. The only hope for Raonic is if Rafa became complacent after beating Nole - and Rafa doesn't do complacency...

lol! I was already thinking "Rafa is never complacent" before I read the last bit of your post. But yeah, I agree, Rafa's game is too well rounded for Milos. There's this weird Canada dynamic tho. We'll see if it affects him positively or if he'll be a ball of nerves playing infront of his people.

Who ya got?

Rafa is in fine form and has shown himself to be the guy who holds strong in big moments. Raonic may make some hay with his serve. In the end, I think the "picker" beats the "nostrils" in two sets.

"Nadal's game is too round for the Canadian." Well put, Kieran. And I agree with the rest of your post.
