OMG - last night while watching Serena's match - if I could put my hands through the tv I would tape her mouth shut. OMG the woman was so damn annoying and I was praying she would STFU. She had nothing constructive to say whatsoever. I have to compliment Lindsey she has really grown into a decent commentator. Pleas tell me that Stubbs was not call the Woz match today.

she is so unprofessional...:nono...she is just as bad as Nigel Sears who seems to have a crush on pova in a very creepy way..he cant help himself...

Then she had the nerve to claim that even though Serena is great she does not have shots like Ana....I fell off my bed laughing. And at the end when she saw that Serena was kicking Ana's butt then she had the nerve to say that Serena had to fight hard for the win.....I am telling you these folks are something else. And yes she is very unprofessional.

Then she had the nerve to claim that even though Serena is great she does not have shots like Ana....I fell off my bed laughing. And at the end when she saw that Serena was kicking Ana's butt then she had the nerve to say that Serena had to fight hard for the win.....I am telling you these folks are something else. most of it is professional jealousy...since Serena got to number 18,these jealous folk are coming out the woodwork.The Russian and Dementieva,then Myskina said something to support that russian man...now this.If Ana is so good how come it took her six years to get back into top ten.Talent is not enough....h2h8-1..:laydownlaughing

This is truly unreal - they so want Serena to get out of tennis that it is always reveal in their hidden comments. I mean even one poster here in a thread claims that Serena was an underachiver because she should have been at #1 longer. even WTA doesnt want her to win YEC...they are using scheduling .Serena has made a lot of money these past three years and that can make a lot of players green with envy.I think the no.1 ranking is not that important,she can claim it next year starting with Australia.Stubbs used to be friends with the sisters when everyone hated them.I am really surprised by her behavior...anyway I hope she shuts down for the season..no exhos just regroup for next year.

If you are going to cite me, at least do so directly courageously. I was the one who
said she should have been #1 for a longer period. However, you are twisting my words.
I never said she is "underachiever" in comparison to others. I said that IMHO, she
probably achieved less in comparison to what she probably could have achieved
given her talent level. So, please do not take a particular phrase and project it
out of context.

I am not so much concerned that you left out my handle. I am concerned that you are
picking some words ("underachiever") totally out of context. For the benefit of the rest,

Oh how did I miss this forum. Probably because I try to forget how horrible Rennae is immediately after I don't see her. Why is she constantly trying to compete with Lindsay Davenport? Lindsay does an incredible job commentating. Rennae - take a communications course or go do something else.

Yes Lindsay is fantastic at what she does in the commentary booth.

I have to agree from a broadcaster's perspective, did radio for 20 years and tv for 2 and Lindsay Davenport has a degree of eloquence that very few commentators have these days. She has really grown on me as a television commentator. No need to add to Stubbs ineptitude, it is already stated.
