Rafael Nadal will have worst season in 2014 since 2005 .

F

Fastgrass

He will have to deal three younger opponents .

1) Navak ( Year younger , peaked late)
2) Delpo. ( 2 year younger , Really fresh )
3) Dimitrov. ( 5 year younger , talented)

Fourth troubling opponent may be Murray / Federer .
But first three opponents are really capable beating nadal
multiple times .
Delpo / Novak have game to beat nadal at FO , while GD absolutely talented shotmaker will trouble nadal in best of
3 set matches . He nearly edged nadal on clay this year ,
but unlucky . If he fails to do this in 2014 , 2015, 2016 will be big years for him.

I predict end of clay dominance of nadal in 2014 .
End of clay dominance means nearly end of nadal
.

I WILL BUMP THIS THREAD AFTER CLAY SEASON 2014 .

Fastgrass...I don't want to go all "new age " on you, but all this negativity will eventually hurt your insides man...I mean stomach pain, constipation, you name it...As opposed to theorizing why Nadal will suck next year, why don't you explain why the others will succeed? Be positive, be happy...Life is beautiful...Go out, smell the sunshine, help an old lady cross the road

OK Blood spinner fan , I will try this but when you will try B.P.

British Petroleum? I am a Shell guy myself....

I am a tennis fan, by the way, and my favorite player is Roger Federer.
I did look into the blood spinning thing for my back though...since I have issues there all the time, but my doctor says it is tricky and painful. He lost me at painful.

Now, you said you will try. I want to see one positive thread from you per week. ;). Like homework...Don't tell me...show me ;)

man you have just got to walk away from that cheap liquor.

just say NO to cheap liquor.

and don't let nadal ruin your life. he just won a slam on his worst surface.

he also dominated the north American circuit which was on his worst surface.

that very clearly suggests that he is all business in 2014. and guess what? there is no 7 month layoff this time. are you scared yet?

memo to all his adversaries in battle:

pray for death

Novak is Rafa's biggest rival, and Del Potro can be compitetive with Rafa depending on the surface. But no one knows where Murray is going to be after his operation, Roger had enough trouble with Rafa even when he wasn't old, and Dimitrov hasn't proven a thing yet. So yeah, I think Rafa should be fine.

Remarkably, in his 18 slam finals, Rafa has faced either Roger or Novak in 14 of them. Two all-timers in the way so many times, which might be a record of sorts.

15, if we were churlish and considered this years RG semi as the final, before the fact.

Add in how much he's been affected by injuries and Rafa's record becomes even more impressive...

how much he's been affected by injuries.... you also need to consider how much he benefitted from playing that style, he wouldn't be as effective (or winning all those majors) if he was anything less. Sorry but no concessions for self-inflicted injuries....

camelot elite tennis society is pretty much home to me these days but I consider tennis frontier home too.

this is a cool place and I like stopping by here on regular basis.

a post takes a second to make.

saying hello to somebody takes only a fraction of a second. when I am here, I am basically just saying hello to all my friends here.

as for the images, I can do an image in 30 seconds and post it at 2-3 places in a minute.

Since he won all of the outdoor North American tournaments, but lost indoors in London, I would say the latter is his worst surface.

excellent point.

I don't really consider the indoor hard courts to be all that significant in overall scheme of things but you do have a point.

Too hilarious Murat.. FG picked the right tourney to thump his chest but we shall see if he does gives this thread a bump during the clay season.
