Ringing its downtown waterfront are numerous parks and the Corniche Promenade. On a man-made island, the I.M. Pei–designed Museum of Islamic Art houses an extensive collection from across the Muslim world. At Souq Waqif, a traditional market, vendors offer goods like clothing, crafts and spices.

What a lame field? This used to be premier warm up for AO due to bigger prize money.
Yeah, tough luck for Qatar Open. All the big boys went for the summer down under and they seem to be giving 100% for their nations. I see nothing wrong with Doha prize money, but there is something in the team events that players enjoy much more than just another tournament somewhere.

Is it the prize money, or the ATP Cup that drained the field?

Of course there is the ATP Cup, but this year the situation in the middle east surely affected the Qatar open.

Anyway glad that Rublev won. The guy is on a roll lately. Ranked outside the top 16 so a pretty bad R3 for anyone at AUSOPEN.

The Royals probably didn't want to come up with an exorbitant amount of appearance MONEY!
