Do you have any predictions for next year?
Do you think it will be a year with no fear?
Do you think it will be 1 without cheer?
Do you think this years lessons will be held dear?

Thinking about how strange this year has been I wondered whether anyone would have any predictions for how next year might be & thought it might be fun to share these. Be as imaginative or realistic as you like & have fun. I've decided I'm going to try to write mine in quatrain form like Nostradamus. However, I'm not going to write mine in medieval French, Greek, Italian & Latin like Nostradamus unfortunately. Mainly because I'm not as clever as Nostradamus. I can understand some medieval French but know very little Italian, Greek & Latin. (I haven't come up with a prediction yet, but please stay tuned.) Although I don't think Nostradamus was able to fore-tell the future I don't think he was a total failure either because his quatrains were good pieces of poetry & he was successful in the field of medicine.

Quatrain I

I predict a Britain with a Brexit deal.
This deal will be more expensive than what we had before without the rights I feel.
These lockdowns will cause more businesses to go down.
There'll be less shops, cafes & pubs in town.

Quatrain II

Working at home will still be the thing.
Instead of visiting others you will still give them a ring.
People will buy local food or grow their own.
Though you'll get people who will still moan.

Quatrain III

We'll learn from the virus that if you're ill you must stay at home.
People will look after themselves better wherever they roam.
People will continue to give others their personal space.
People won't go about as if everyday, everything they do is a race.

I don't have any solid predictions for (this) year. Just hoping for some improvements and taking things as they come.
