I really think Kenin should have had a break after her loss at the AO,not played this event,she was clearly upset in her presser after the AO,nervous being the defending champion she was beaten in her first match by a Aussie WC ranked 727.

Sloane Stephens dismal form continues in early 2021.

Bianca Andreescu into the semifinal after a thriller against Begu. Lots of errors but also sign and glimpses of a great player. Bianca is on her way back to the top but it's not easy after being away from the tour for so long. As you can see from the stats there's still a lot of work to do. She just need some fresh air

There is a WTA tournament starting in Adelaide,I wonder if Bianca will play,at least she is getting the match play,still I hope she does not over play,she has just come back to the tour,I dont want to see anymore injuries for her.,having to have a long time off the tour again.

Well done to Kasatkina this is her first title in more than 2 years.I read that Kasatkina has been working with a sports psychologist over the past year to help her turn things around.
