Peter Graf dead at 75

I just saw this on the news. I know there was much controversy surrounding him and speculation on how all of that affected Steffi in the early 1990s. I am not privy to the truth, but Steffi's dad has passed and I wish her, her family and friends condolences during what must be a difficult time in light of them all being public figures. May his and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace.

This what Andre wrote in his book when his Dad Mike met Steffi's father Pater.. It doesnt sound like there werent too many happy holidays with these two control freaks in the same home.

In 2001, Steffi Graf married the tennis star Andre Agassi, whose own father, Mike, had rigged up a machine to shoot tennis balls at him at 110 miles per hour when he was 7. When the fathers met, what Agassi, in his memoir “Open,” called the “unavoidable moment” happened. After Mike Agassi showed Peter Graf the machine, they got into an argument over the merits of Steffi’s one-handed backhand and Andre’s two-hander. Graf took off his shirt, and both men raised fists.
