Oh Gawd, why drag me into this? Been content enough and been exposed to too many opportunities without musing about alternatives!
1) I actually considered moving to Europe for good on 2 occasions and now rue the day I didn't leave! I looked at Amsterdam for some strange reason
back in '01! I've always been lucky to miss catastrophe's like floods and earthquakes when I come and go! I could have avoided 911 if not for waiting a few months too long to decide! Even found a quaint little town very reminiscent of a Chicago suburb just 30 min. outside of the city called Haarlem! I would have missed out on Obama's election, but I'd be able to stick my finger out and laugh when Trump was elected!
2) Lived up high most of my life, usually around the 3rd floor, but other apt. have been on 8, 12, 13, 20, & 49! I'm fine on secure ground, but I have a problem with heights when on something like a fire escape and won't have someone near me leaning out of a window or on a balcony! So plummeting from a great height is common I guess! Drowning is right up there though! :cuckoo:
3) A favorite book to read? How many re-read a book? I have my favorites of course which I recommend, but can't relate to having a "fave to read!"
4) I love "12 Angry Men," but will go with "The Ten Commandments" from '56 with Heston & Brynner
5) Nothing much situationally! Some TV shows and movies do it for me, but memories tell me anything with the Marx Brothers will have me ROFLOL!
6) Tennis has always been my favorite sport to watch on TV! Back during the tennis boom of the mid 70's, it wasn't unusual to have 3 matches on at the same time on the networks on the weekends! Once BJK was not only playing live on CBS, on ABC they were telecasting the WTC exhibition tourney with 4 men/women competing for top prize! It had been taped from the previous FALL and then stretched out over a span of 11-12 weeks the following year! All the top players participated; Borg, Evert, Laver, Goolagong, Nastase, Wade, ….etc. Of course I played tennis almost every day starting at 14 and kept at it until my 40's! Taught it while in college! Outside of tennis, I love American football!
7)
"Blue Lagoon" is where my mind wanders going back to my childhood! You couldn't do better than Christopher Atkins then or now! Willie Ames in
"Paradise" would do in a pinch though! :heart:
8) With the state of affairs, I'd have to keep it within 60 years and to stay North if here in the States for obvious reasons! (Will have to think on it more)
9) Been lucky so far and can't think of much outside of just not wanting to do something! (W/B back)
10) Porsche, but been a consumer of American cars all my life!
11) Another life? (W/B back)
(
@Gamesetmath can take a turn I guess)
