Thanks for the reminder, Moxie! You've always been so good about keeping everyone aware of, and involved in the draw challenges. :)

For those who aren't familiar with them, they're NOT actual gambling. There is no money involved. It's just a game, so please join us and have fun.

You all have until Monday at 6am to make picks. That's Monday at 10am GMT, 11am in Europe, and Monday afternoon/evening in Australasia. There. Now don't come crying to me when you missed the deadline. :nono ;) :laydownlaughing

Man, I am on the fence again with Berdych vs Monfils if it happens.. I am gonna go with Monfils, I think Berdych has for lack of a better word "Czech" out for this year.

Denisovich, our resident expert draw challenger, is once again in the lead after Day 1. I won't mention who's last, except to say his name rhymes with Blackbeard. And the guy in second to last place's name rhymes with rented.

It looks to me like we are tied for last Rented:snigger. My Hailmary gamble of Benneteau making it to the quarterfinal in an epic win over Gulbis did not work out, as neither made it out of the first round...

I'm 0-2 already today. :speechless: Thus far, I've made three -- THREE! -- correct picks. :cover :lolz:

The last rounds of the tournament really count, don't worry. If your semi picks are still in, you can make it up.

I really thought he had a shot:

He didnt play a 500 event before, he's very good indoors, he plays in front of the home crowd and I thought he might want to make up for a so-so year. Also, he needed this match to have a chance to qualify for the WTF. But then again, it is Tsonga...

I had him getting to Rafa. I'm sorry he lost today, though either Gasquet or Nishikori is easier for Nadal...but Tsonga was gimpy, so it doesn't matter, and may not have mattered if he made the WTF, since he seems injured. I was hoping for the Gasquet/Tsonga match, though.

I predicted Tsonga would go out this round, but it was more that I wanted Benneteau to go pretty far, which didn't work out.

I always kick myself in these early rounds. I can't believe I went against my formula and didn't pick Verdasco over Gulbis...and I can't stand Gulbis! Haha! Anyway, it's all just a laugh, but I'm glad for those who're playing. Maybe we can get more to do it next year. This is the last one until Indian Wells.
