How will it look like? :D The match is on singles court size, not doubles court size.
Have you saw such match? Can a top 10 beat two top 100? or two top 500? Maybe even beat two top 20?...
It can be a good practice ;)

Just asking whats your opinion on such a match

That's how I practiced a lot of the time when it was 3 of us! The thing is, if you're confident enough to be the one player on a side, you can beat those 2 on the other every time! Never had much of a problem, but that was back in the 70's, 80's, & 90's! The game is faster now and they hit the ball a lot harder! I'd probably have a heart attack trying to run down those shots! :snigger

I could imagine Martina, Steffi, and Serena beating two mid- to low-ranked opponents. At least it would be interesting to see them try. They might even get bored, and ask for a third sacrifice ... I mean, player.

It's not feasible in pro matches obviously, but can be good in practice. If we have a 3 then you rotate every game. If the pair win the game, then they get one point each, if the single player wins the game then they get double.

Tented, being subtle doesn't work on some people. :laydownlaughing

I think two top women players against one lowly ranked junior boy would be a great match... :snigger

Exactly. It's often used in practice, to push the single player a round a lot. But not in a tournament...
