We have clearance, Clarence? Roger, Roger. What's our vector, Victor?

Commence discussion of his retirement.

I don't understand your obsession with Roger's retirement.
Give him a break. He has one more GS in him.

For all I know, it could even come in FO with Djokovic
taking out Nadal and Fed beating Djokovic in Final
(as he did in SF a year ago).

Evidently your sarcasm detector is broken.

It is hard to dismiss it as sarcasm given the fact that
you are the one who started the serious "Roger Done" thread
recently.

Are you for real? What part of "commence discussion of his retirement" do you not understand? How could that NOT be interpreted as facetiousness?

As for the "Roger Done" thread, you conveniently left out the question mark. That thread was a question, not a statement. Big difference. I also admitted in the first first sentence that I realized I was writing it right after Federer lost to Delbonis, so it was kneejerk.

I'm a big Roger fan and I hope he doesn't retire for years to come. I'm just concerned.

If you won't believe him, then I hope you believe me.

It's sarcasm, based on the predictable discussions which ensue after such news.
