In no particular order:

- Someone other than the Big 4/3+1 wins a Grand Slam.
- We see some life from Grigor Dimitrov, who puts away the cool guy attitude and acts (and plays) like he really wants to win
- Roger bounces back to at least contender form and has (at least) one more shot at a Slam final
- We see legit breakthroughs from the Young Guns

Is that too much to ask for?

I want Rafa to have a full healthy year. If that happens, I'm sure he will do well.

After another search for news on a possible comeback I'm losing hope but still holding out a glimmer of hope that Robin Soderling returns. That would cheer me up given Roger's current play. Vera Zvonerova came back recently after a long injury break so there's still some hope imo. Many think Soderling is gone for good but given how long players are playing into their 30s now I still think he might come back.

- Nadal winning Wimbledon.
- Federer winning a major. Yes, really.
- No injuries for Nadal.
- Some youngster actually doing something beyond taking a top player to 3 sets in some Masters 1000 event only to lose, but get endless praise anyway.
- Andy Murray returns to form following the injury.
- Del Potro challenges full time, instead of being inconsistent.
- The veterans continuing to do well, with Hewitt joining them.

Obviously, these are reasonable hopes. I could just say "Nadal winning all 4 majors," which is my real hope, but that would be too greedy.

Rafa to nab 2 more slams - and remain fit throughout
Rafa to win the WTF
Del Potro to rise to the occasion and take a slam
Murray to come back at his best
A non-4 name to make a final at a major
Upsets to become more common, with the makeweights leaving blood on the floor before departing

- Robin Soderling to return.
- Jerzy Janowicz to make inroads towards big things. More body serves & variety & less dropshots.
- Tommy Haas to continue at a high level and it'd be great to see him crack the top ten again.
- Monfils to remain injury free, cut out the antics and play intelligently. Yes, learn to challenge!
- Obviously major improvement from Roger but I expect that from last year so I'll put the others first.
- David Goffin to take inspiration from Supersize Me and munch a few burgers & come back stronger.
- Daniel Brands to do better than last season as the potential is definitely there.
- Tsonga to win a big tournament. Even a masters 1000. Can't see it but I'd like to.
- Good results from all the players using past greats as coaches and maybe more will join them.
- ATP/ITF to grow a pair with doping controls and treat all players equally. Cilic shouldn't be allowed out there given Troicki is still banned. 4 months for a positive test and 1.5 years for refusing a test. Really? WTF?

For me personally:

Nadal winning the Australian Open (giving him two career slams) and winning the French Open for the ninth time. If he wins both Australian Open and French Open, he would surpass Sampras only trail the great Roger Federer.

Nadal winning Miami for the first time

Murray doing well after surgery

Roger Federer making one last push to a Grand Slam final

Juan Martin del Potro being a consistent threat to all events

Grigor Dimitrov does well

Jerzy Janowicz continues to do play well and be less predictable
