This match could be a 'Popcorn Match' Coric and our Nick K
Last year on Twitter these two were at each other....Nick calling Coric 'a peanut' after Coric told him that he should check his behavior after the 'Famed Arida Tour' :)

Dan Evans will serve for his first ATP title at 5-2, won the 1st set 62
Felix needs help transitioning to the net,he made too many UFE 32 today.,also prone to over hitting
Dan Evans 2nd DF of the match would you believe and Felix breaks as he was serving for the match,a few nerves which is understandable.
2nd CHP for Evans .......Dan Evans wins his first ATP Title 62 63 well controlled display of tennis.Well Deserved!

Maybe a sports psychologist could help Felix,a lot of players use them for different reasons.

Ouch. Houston, we have a problem (auglem? hmm...doesn't work). What is that, 0-7?

Dear Pete Sampras, please coach this kid.
I remember that I mentioned it last year but someone mentioned Pete doesn't want to travel.

If that’s not already a record, it must be close.
There's a player, German I think (or maybe Austrian), who almost beat Roger in a Slam SF a few years ago that, i think, was something like 0-11. Can't remember his name, but will try to figure it out.

EDIT: OK, I was wrong. Julien Benneteau, French, 0-10 in ATP finals. And it was the 3R match vs. Roger in the 2012 Wimbledon. I remember it because he went up 2 sets, Roger won the rest, including a tiebreaker in the 4th set. It was a pins-and-needles match for we Roger fans.

The French seem to have a bad track record in finals. Gael Monfils is 10-21, 0-3 in Masters; Richard Gasquet is 15-16 but 0-5 in ATP 500 and higher; Benoit Paire 3-6.

So maybe Felix is channeling his French heritage ;).

Oh, yes, I remember that. And he retired without ever having won a singles title. But Benneteau was a pretty medium talent. And yes, we tend to slag the French for being slackers in the big moments, but I suspect there's a fair amount of big expectation on FAA from really young. That's a lot of pressure. Not sure if a new coach and/or sports psychologist is the answer, but I do think he'll get past that, and there is a title or two in store for him this year. My prediction!

Yes, agreed, Moxie. I'm not worried at all. Just the fact that he's appeared in seven finals so quickly - all before his 21st birthday - speaks of better yet to come.

That Sinner kid, though...
