Is whooping cough a euphemism for 'pregnant girlfriend?' I heard that his partner was due to have their 2nd child, and assumed he wasn't going to risk what happened in 2010, i.e., she gave birth early, and he missed it.

I watched Paire's sputtering loss to Benjamin Becker, including his being booed as he walked off court. I'm not sure what to make of Paire. Some seem to think he's quite talented, but needs to get his head together. Perhaps. He does often act like a temperamental child.
