About Moscow

Moscow, on the Moskva River in western Russia, is the nation's cosmopolitan capital. In its historic core is the Kremlin, a complex that's home to the president and tsarist treasures in the Armoury. Outside its walls is Red Square, Russia's symbolic center. It's home to Lenin's Mausoleum, the State Historical Museum's comprehensive collection and St. Basil's Cathedral, known for its colorful, onion-shaped domes.

She may not be winning her matches. But, is fun to watch none the less. :p

But, she lost to an unknown player. That is embarrassing. May be home tourney pressure got to her.

I don't say this for the rest of her career. But, for the near future when she gains experience.

I watched some of the second set when I realised that Serbian teenager Olga Danilovic as a lucky loser won the first set against Julia Goerges. I will watch her in the semifinal against Sasnovich too if I can.

Some may remember Olga's father when he played basketball https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predrag_Danilović

Semi-final ..

Olga Danilovic (SRB) beat 5-Aliaksandra Sasnovich 6-2 5-7 7-5
Anastasia Potapova (RUS) beat Tamara Zidansek (SLO) 3-6 6-4 (Retired)

There is actually decent money on offer here. I'm surprised the field was so weak.

Danilovic and Potapova will play off for $163,000. Loser gets $81K

I see that Danilovic (Serbia) is only 17, and was the lucky loser. Also, Potopova was in on a WC. There were some good players in the field, but these were the last 2 standing.
