Not a good day for the young hopes: Halys lost to Gulbis, not such a big surprise, but Coric losing to Berrer is.

Hey Berrer is not nobody! :nono

What happened to his planned retirement at the end of last year? :puzzled

I posted it in the off season, he has changed his mind. Postponed the retirement.

I always wonder why Brown cannot get better results. I am not even talking top 20 here. Surely he has enough game to be somewhere between 30 and 60. But, he rarely is ranked that high if ever.

Brown has his career high only at 78 and that was achieved last year, when already at 30.
He entered this event ranked 133.

Don't you think with his game, he should be able to achieve lot better ranking.

His inconsistency lets him down. Too many UEs in matches. But I know what you mean, when he is playing well, he looks like a much better player than his ranking.

Yeah, disappoints me too as he can be extremely entertaining to watch. Would like to see him ranked much higher too.

Watching Zverev-Mathieu - why do commentators persist in saying that the score has gone' back to deuce' when it was never at deuce before?!
