Exactly what I said here about the rubber surfaces in Paris and Budapest. They were slowing her down. She is not even top 30 on rubber Thank god there arent many rubber surfaces on the tour.

She also said that she will play for sure in IW and its only an inflemation of the achilles

With that, she equals the best ranking a Romanian player ever had on the WTA ! :clap
Spirlea was ranked 7th also.

Simona starts the IW ranked NO.5 (!!) in the world after erasing the 2013 IW points !
Are we sure that sugarova and Kerber will do better than Simo in IW?... Simona may even finish 5th after IW !!!

Simona Halep on 4385 points (losing only 50 points) - now 7th
Masha on 4206 (losing 1000 points) - now 5th
Kerber on 4040 (losing 450 points) - now 6th
