It's a close call :D

I'm only hopeful! Every time you count out Rafa he surprises you, but Murray certainly has a chance! He has to be super-aggressive as his finishing kick in the match today! I was cracking up seeing him trying to play a defensive game and Kei was making him pay! If Andy had lost the 2nd set, I'm not sure he could have held on! He was getting shakier and shakier; being warned by the ump for taking too much time! It's only going to be worse tomorrow, but we'll see what he does! Which Murray decides to play this particular match? We all know what Rafa brings! :dodgy:

Let's face it. Andy won Munich then he played til breakfast against Kohl, and came back the next day and "bluffed" a win against Granola. He's sure and he has nothing to lose. He's playing well, since he put Kei in his place.

And Rafa is bulging his muscles, pumping his Vamos and gathering up the storm after achieving "the calm."

It's not straight forward to predict, but one of them is Rafa and the other one isn't, and they're playing on clay. In Spain. I woulda prefered Kei, but this is all about development and improvement.

Rafa will win, his first big win since, eh...

^ Kieran summarized it well.

I think Rafa gets this done in straights.

I think Nadal will win in straights, but if he happens to have a mental walkabout in any set, then in three I guess.

Nadal in double bagels.

P.S. I've been completely wrong on my predictions and therefore Nadal is doomed.

The guy does not get to a single clay final all his career, now gets 2 finals in a row. Go figure...

Rafa in straights.

Actually, in the presser after his win at Munich, when congratulated for his first win on clay,
Andy casually told he plans to win another one in the next few weeks (he was not joking though).

Rafa in 3 sets.. no way Rafa is gonna spare his fans without a day of high drama and tension.. Murray is always tough for Rafa because of the matchup, two guys who can have a tendency to counterpunch at times until a short ball allows for one to take the offensive. If Rafa is playing as well as he did thus far this week, I pick him because his games does have combo patterns whereas Andy at times seems to see if he can out slug his opponent from the baseline. Who knows. Murray has added a few wrinkles in his game I hear but I honestly haven't watched him play, so it could be very close.

If Rafa plays like yesterday, he wins. But for some reason I picked Murray in 3. He's got a chance if he can return as well as he did yesterday.
