Who had the best career post-Beatles?

Always an interesting discussion, and I was surprised to find Harrison actually had more solo hits than Lennon post-breakup of the Fab Four.

Paul McCartney and his band Wings (1972 -1979) . John's solo records was patchy at best. Admittedly he lost some of the creativity in the mid 70's because of his fight to become a US citizen which he eventually prevailed and becoming a dad a second time. Have you heard his 'Walls and Bridges" album ?
