The tennis legend apparently made a young cancer survivor’s Make-A-Wish come true at Wimbledon.
Beatriz Tinoco, an 18-year-old from Rockville, Md., survived a bout with cancer in 2011 and 2012. Tinoco recently blogged about meeting Federer and posted pictures on Twitter of her tale. (If you want to follow her, click here).
We’ll post her entire tale at the bottom, but this young cancer survivor flew to London, played tennis with Federer, went to his press conferences, hung out and bantered with her idol on her 18th birthday.
