I find rape allegations such a dodgy issue in today's society. Quite possible he is indeed guilty but there are so many people lying about such things these days just for money it's sad. A lot of innocent people out there wrongly convicted. Anyway, as I said, maybe he indeed is guilty in this case in and therefore deserves it but pity he's now a relatively old man as he should've paid for his crimes years ago then.
In isolated "he said she said" cases it is difficult to know the truth. But, in Hewitt's case
there are three different girls involved. The chances that the three of them together are
indulging in a conspiracy to get him for money is less (especially given the court
has found him guilty). Also, the girls being underage, there is no possibility of consensus
as well.
In Cosby's case, there are multiple women who did not know each other before.
So, once again difficult to believe they are indulging in some conspiracy.
Of course, after the initial wave of allegations, some other women might pile on
even though they were not violated, just to see whether they can get something out.
But, that would not invalidate the initial allegations.
