Message to Mark Davis...

Bring Jon Gruden home. The Raiders have been a complete joke for a decade... two or three decades really... apart from Gruden's spell at the Silver and Black.

Oakland need a seasoned coach and one who will put bums back on seats. Gruden is the man.

Well, Dennis Allen has been fired. That's a step in the right direction. The Raiders have to get this right for next year. The franchise is a laughing stock right now. Mark Davis is actually doing some right things behind the scenes in bringing the club into the 21st century after Al's painful final decade at the helm. Al Davis was a pioneer but for the last 15-20 years at the Raiders surrounded himself with yes-men and sycophants and the club descended into dysfunction, chaos and ridicule.

I always wanted to see Gruden return to coaching. I doubt it will happen but would've loved the packers to get him a few years back. Things can turn around quickly in today's NFL so you never know when the raiders can come back to life.
