Jelena back in Top 10

Jelena Jankovic will be back in top 10 this coming week, thanks to her performance at the China Open.

Runner-up China Open 2013

She may also be playing in Istanbul next month, that would be a return she has missed since the last decade!

I strongly suspect that JJ is back to her antics,her MTO was highly suspect and she tried to quick serve at Rena:lolz:and Williams totally ignored Janky silly behaviour...7-4 hope it becomes 10-4 in 2014lot

I think JJ's injury is real. Didn't she withdraw from the Japan Open before knowing Pova was going to miss Itsanbul? JJ would not forego trying to qualify if she were not hurt.

She withdrew the day before we knew Sharapova was going to miss Istanbul. That doesn't mean she didn't know though. News of Sharapova's withdrawal was released on Monday, but I imagine she actually informed the WTA that she wouldn't be playing at least a couple of days before that.
