The Tournament:

The Swiss Open is hosted in Gstaad, Switzerland and boasts one of the most scenic backdrops on the tour. Held since 1915, the tournament is played on outdoor clay courts. Gstaad is situated in south-western Switzerland, near the border with France.

About Gstaad

Gstaad is a village in the German-speaking section of the Canton of Berne in southwestern Switzerland. It is part of the municipality of Saanen and is known as a major ski resort and a popular destination amongst the high society and the international jet set. Bellucci has a history of doing well here (I guess he won it at least twice). He generally does well in tournaments played in high altitude, Quito being the other one he already won and got to finals multiple times.

Monteiro has yet a short ATP career, his win/loss record is 16/24. Oddly enough, I am pretty sure the average ranking of the opponents he beats is much much better than the average ranking of the guys he loses to.

Hanfmann turned pro only in 2015, when he was 23y old already, so most likely he will continue moving up. Also he has impaired hearing.
This was the 5th title for F3, by the way.
