Hi guys,
as you all know Stefan Edberg has been confirmed as part of Roger Federer's coaching team for 2014.

Yesterday, Roger had been interviewed by the Basler Zeitung and he had talked about his impressions on Stefan from the Dubai training camp together, as well as about Mirka's pregnancy, his thoughts about the next season and his new racquet.

I have translated that interview into English for my Stefan Edberg tribute website.

You can read the English versione here --> http://bit.ly/1ad3py1

Thanks for the regular updates on the Stefan/Fed hookup, stefanstennis... it's been interesting to see it unfold over the last couple of weeks.

Thanks for posting the interview. I'm glad to hear that Roger is making the racket switch. I don't know why interviewers keep expecting him to whine about being called old when he was injured. He IS old - in tennis years - even if he was injured. :lolz:

I liked his attitude about the racquet technology and the confidence. He said he'd stay with it through Australia, which is good sign.

I don't think it is confirmed yet. I am still hopeful that he will play the 1st round,
skip the 2nd round and then play in the SF and F (both of which happens after the
last slam of the year).
