They'll be analyzing this match for years to come! It was historic in so many ways! Most thought this would be routine with Rafa winning 2 FO's within months over the same rival! That 5-0 lead in the 1st set wasn't helping Nole or his fans, but he persevered like no time in the past; even over 2019 Wimbledon surviving MP's! He's already done that multiple times against Federer in majors! The only thing making it more noteworthy is, like Rafa on clay, the grass was Fed's home! Serving for it, it was a done deal, but Roger couldn't finish! Rafa didn't look the same last week; even after winning certain points going "VAMOS!" He looked a little unsure and weary! He was being run to death with Nole actually going into his strength allowing a few winners DTL off the FH! The "gets" by both were astonishing, but we've seen it before! Many might say this match may eclipse '08 Wimbledon! Rafa might have put the GOAT race out of reach with this one title, but it's still neck and neck! Stay Tuned! :yahoo:
