Wow !!! Saw this infamous match 40 years ago, late on a friday evening AU time.
McEnroe was in all sorts of trouble versus Floren Segacenu in the second round. The Romanian was returning his serve as good as McEnroe's rivals at that time, Connors, Lendl and Mats Wilander, an upset looked like was going to happen.
He then gets fired up over some foot-fault calls and appeared to lift his game there after.
Anyone here recall seeing this game or the McEnroe antics ?
