Thanks Golds Girl for doing the poll....much appreciated

I am picking Serena, even though her serve to me hasnt been on song so far in this tournament, she is making way too many d/faults for my liking, very un Serena like.

Halep really impressed me in her match against Pliskova, her best match to date.

Serena in 3 sets.

Serena in 3 her game has been off this tournament. She is fortunate that it has turned on at the right moments. She made it this far, so she won't go down without a fight.

Taking Serena. She'll be ready for Simona since she lost to her last year. Two tight sets, maybe even a breaker.

I'm going with Serena in two tight sets.

There is nothing wrong with her game, she has just been lazy, not moving her feet. As her competition get deeper she steps up her game. I mean, haven't folks figure out the way she plays by now.

I have to go with Serena too, although Simona appears to be one player who is able to stand in and fight with Williams.

Exactly.

Serena will win Indian Wells, which means she beats Halep on the way.

I'm tired of seeing people write the same tired thing every tournament she plays, "she hasn't been playing well" or "her serve is off."

Fact is, if she wants to win, she'll win, if she's interested, she'll win convincingly. This is not slam, in slam she does tend to get tight, in tour event, never see it.

Why was the Halep/Serena match removed from live scores? It was there an hour ago?
Probably a mistake. They're not scheduled to play until 11pm EST. Sabine/JJ are about to go on now. They appear to be running behind because the Nadal match went longer than expected.

I assume she will miss Miami. Wishing her a speedy recovery. I am hoping for GS number 20 at FO.
