Seoul is the not the only reason the Asian swing officially started, this event is the other one.

It didn't take long for the top seed to fall, it happened in her first match. Same happened to #5 seed U Radwanska.

Laura Robson advanced.

Two matches are still being played, I wil post updates here.

Hsieh is a good doubles player, checked her out at the US Open...not sure how she fares as a singles player

Not too good today, she lost to Shuai Zhang. There goes the defending Champion.
#4 seed Shuai Peng lost too, she lost to a Brit! But the Brit wasn't Luara Robson, she won too.

All the other seeds advanced. Vania King won too, both in singles and doubles.
