In research for my latest blog article(s), I ran across this name: Felix Auger Aliassame. He's currently ranked #751, so why am I bothering mentioning him? Because he was born August 8, 2000!!!! As far as I can tell he's the first "21st century baby" ranked in the top 1000.

Of course it is waaaayyy too soon to get excited about this kid, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

You are not the first to mention his name on this forum. Yes, you guessed, JLB the hawk eye for teenage potential cited his name.
I read his name on another forum before anywhere else. And yeah, he is Canadian.
No, I am not getting excited at all. He may choose another career in the end.

This kid is already 1.85m tall?? And he just turned 15. Watch him getting a lot taller.

I am delighted to mention that Felix Auger-Aliassame with another Canadian young player Denis Shapovalov (16y) won the junior doubles title at the USO in straight sets.
Both are from Montreal.
