On a different note than everything else, what are your favorite tennis sites, whether for news, commentary, stats, and history? I'm curious where y'all go, but thought some might appreciate a list of good sites. Here are my go-tos:

SCORES & NEWS:
Flashscore - My go-to for live stats.
ATP Tour - General news, plus good for player stats and rankings.
Live Tennis - Live tennis rankings.
The Athletic - Tennis articles for smartish people, I guess. Good articles, though.

COMMENTARY:
Gill Gross - Great analysis.
Served with Andy Roddick - Andy's always entertaining and provides a seasoned, smart player's view on events.
Heavy Topspin - Jeff Sackmann is pretty much the king of tennis stats. Some fun articles, even if he's a bit too "Elo reliant," in my opinion.

DISCUSSION:
Tennis Frontier - I mean, obviously. It is the main place I go to but also will occasionally check...
Reddit Tennis - not a bad community and if you're looking for more regular discussion, this is a solid place to check out. But it doesn't have my favorite tennis friends like here, though :).

STATISTICS:
Ultimate Tennis Statistics - most in-depth site for stats and has lots of un bells and whistles like GOAT points, Elo, records and customizable charts. The one (biggish) problem is that it didn't update all last year, and only finally updated recently...so it may be on a once-a-year update schedule, not sure.
Tennis Abstract - Also really good, but a bit less handy to use. It is great for looking up individual players, but not very good for historical records.
Wikipedia - There's tons of stuff here if you know how to find it, but I especially like the year ATP (and WTA) tour pages, which I check frequently to keep track of the year.

OTHER/MISCELLANY:
Youtube - there's a wealth of old videos - from classic recent Big Three stuff, to really old footage of all-time greats.
Sportstream - If you can't watch it on TV....

There are others in every category, but those are the main ones I go to and the stats ones are what I use to create my charts.

What about you?

Apart from here, Roddick’s podcast is the only page I dip into. He’s excellent, and usually right on the mark too. Great insider stuff in terms of what the professionals really face on court. I remember him being irked when he was describing facing Rafa and he said something like, “if I hear one more time somebody say, ‘why don’t you take his cross court forehand early on your backhand..!”

He described why that’s an idiotic comment. Fair enough Andy, I’ll stop saying it! :lulz1:

But he’s excellent.

Now and then dip into tennis.com. Thanks got the recommendations to other sites!
