Just when you think that Del Potro's going to get a break in the draw, he get's that guy Sugita, who was the LL who made it to the QFs of Barcelona. *sigh* Hopefully he goes far into the tournament.

Don't be so negative, Moxie, you look like... me in the AO final...

Seriously, I guess that comparing to Djokovic and Federer, that's is surely an improvement in luck for him. And you can not blame del Potro for failing to beat guys he is suppose to beat. I guess if you look at his recent losses, they were all against quality opposition.

Agreed, and I was mostly just being goofy. I don't actually think that Sugita will get him. He's got a solid chance at this title.

Delpo may be the favourite for this title. He hasn't played bad this year but had some tough draws. I don't think he's lost to any player outside the top 10.

Yeah, I want Del Potro to win here too. Pretty comfortable first round win all things being said.

Great upset by Fratangelo over local #1 Joao Sousa, and also by Harrison, but what has happened to GG Lopez in the last couple of years? And JMDP resists the recent upset king, Sugita.
